Robbing Mary is a Cleveland-based all original roots rock band whose music contains subtle undertones of southern rock, alt-country, blues, folk, and pop. Coming from diverse musical backgrounds and having a broad array of influences, Robbing Mary’s members individually and collectively have many years of experience in composition, performance and recording. While the electric violin is certainly a distinguishing characteristic of Robbing Mary’s sound, the contrast of male and female vocal leads and harmonies, as well as a solid rhythm section, provide the foundation for Robbing Mary’s unique sound. Robbing Mary’s members are professional in their approach to their music, while simultaneously realizing that improvisation is the essential key to a memorable live performance.
